Surveying Services
Spring is finally here after a long, cold winter. Spring is the time of year when property owners start to clean up their properties, cut down trees and homes go up for sale. It is also the best time for a property survey.
A property survey includes deed research before surveyors even step onto your property. Survey technicians research the history of your deed and may even complete a title search. A title search ensures there are no discrepancies when it comes to land ownership. The surveyor will then go out to the property to search for existing survey points and conduct a boundary survey.
After surveying the property, the surveyor can provide property owners with a plan of survey showing legal boundaries. The plan of survey may also include a written description of the property, the street address, the location of buildings and adjacent properties, and any improvements a homeowner made to the land.
