For over fifty years, Boucher & James, Inc. has been meeting the engineering needs of municipalities and businesses throughout Northeastern and Southeastern Pennsylvania. We understand engineering problems and work closely with our clients to deliver practical solutions to meet their needs.
Established in 1962, we specialize in civil engineering, surveying, landscape architecture and planning services. We are expert municipal engineers serving townships, boroughs and authorities throughout Northeastern and Southeastern Pennsylvania. We are also experienced construction managers bringing major projects in on time and on budget.
Our approach is to partner with every client to develop innovative solutions that work. Our team includes an experienced staff of civil and environmental engineers, land surveyors, landscape architects, planners, building and site inspectors as well as construction management specialists. We serve our clients through three convenient offices in Doylestown, Bethlehem and Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.

An Employee Owned Company
Boucher & James, Inc. became an employee owned company on January 9, 2013 with the establishment of an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). The ownership plan offers multiple benefits to both our employees and our clients. Employees now have the opportunity to own a portion of the company and directly benefit from its success. The plan provides a retirement benefit to employees and an incentive for them to make the company even more successful in the future. It will also help us attract and retain top notch talent.
